I have tried it. Fell “off the wagon” awhile ago, to be honest, probably just because of emotional eating stuff. I found it SO simple. No need to plan much, no need to shop for a hundred different ingredients… just some meat and spices and maybe a bit of onion or some kind of complimentary veggie in small quantities. I also managed to pair this with one-meal-a-day eating. I’d have coffee in the morning, ’cause that’s an important daily ritual for me (LOL), and just water until dinner, when it was mostly or all meat.
Pros: I lost weight. Never felt hungry. Never felt deprived, really, and cravings went away. Blood pressure went down. Better energy in general. And the ease of planning/shopping/cooking.
Cons: Social engagements, even at my own house for family dinner with the kids, are harder to manage, but it’s not impossible.
Working my way back to that via Keto right now. 🙂
