Are you tired of coming home from work and not knowing what to make for dinner? Do you want a meal that is not only delicious but also healthy? Look no further than this easy freezer meal recipe for Beyond Bolognese!
First off, let’s talk about why this recipe is so good. It’s a vegan twist on a classic Italian dish, so it’s perfect for those looking for a meatless option. The Beyond Beef adds a hearty texture to the dish, and the combination of herbs and spices creates a rich and flavorful sauce. Plus, it’s versatile — you can serve it over any type of pasta, such as spaghetti or tagliatelle. For a low-carb option, try serving the bolognese over zucchini noodles. You can make these by spiralizing zucchini or using a vegetable peeler to create thin ribbons.
This recipe is gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy-free, making it a great option for those with dietary restrictions. It’s also packed with veggies — onion, garlic, and mushrooms — which provide essential vitamins and minerals. And since it’s a vegan dish, it’s low in saturated fat and cholesterol.
Looking for a wider variety of serving suggestions? Take your family’s dietary restrictions into account when selecting from the following:
1. Polenta: Creamy polenta is a delicious and hearty option to serve with bolognese. You can make it from scratch or use pre-made polenta that you can slice and grill.
2. Bread: Serve the bolognese with a crusty loaf of bread for dipping or making sandwiches.
3. Roasted vegetables: Roasted vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, or Brussels sprouts make a great side dish to balance out the richness of the bolognese.
4. Salad: A simple green salad with a light vinaigrette can help cut through the richness of the bolognese and provide some refreshing contrast.
This easy freezer meal is perfect for busy weeknights when you don’t have a lot of time to cook. Plus, it’s a hearty and healthy option that will leave you feeling satisfied.
